Microbiologist at Animal Care Services Consult

Job Requirements

• Minimum of HND (Upper Credit) or B.Sc (Second Class Upper) in Microbiology with at least two (2) years cognate experience in an Agro-allied industry preferred
• Certifications an advantage including Quality management system.
• Candidates must not be older than thirty years (32) years.
• Computer literacy is compulsory (proficiency in Ms word, Excel etc.)
• Related experience in an Agro-allied company will be an added advantage.
• Candidate must be resident in or around Abuja
• Male Preferably.

Key Competencies:

• Ability to Isolate and characterise bacteria or other microorganisms in prescribed culture media.
• Communication skills - verbal and written
• Data collection, management and analysis
• Ability to Perform tests on water and feed to detect harmful microorganisms and to obtain information about sources of contamination.
• Proficiency in the use of basic laboratory equipment and know how to maintain them
• Attention to detail

• Ability to Proficiency in basic serological procedures or techniques.
