Job Description

The Operations Assistant on Strategy and Business Planning will work with the Operations manager to develop frameworks for growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Track industry and competitive trends.
• Monitor and analyze industry and market changes.
• Develop forecasting models and scenario analysis.
• Examine strategic performance and develop novel strategic solutions.
• Spot emerging market opportunities and make connections with external potential business partners.
• Identify business threats.
• Create, analyze and evaluate internal business plans.
• Perform any other task assigned by the Operations manager.

Minimum Requirements:

• BSc/BA in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance or a related field with between 6-7 years of relevant working experience.
• Solid Agribusiness background.
• Ability to write business plan.
• Strong in contract discussions and negotiations.
• Understanding of market research and data analysis.
• Knowledge of business operations and procedures.
• Demonstrable strategic thinking abilities.
• Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude.
• Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external customers.
• Excellent communication skills are essential.
