The Sales Manager is responsible for assisting the Head of Sales in leading and supervising the sales team, overseeing the day to day sales activities, implementation of action plans and achieving set goals and targets.
Responsibilities
Generate leads and prospects for the business; Identify and develop new markets and market opportunities
Research and analyze sales options.
Responsible for achieving sales targets, converting leads/prospects, acquiring new customers
Conduct market research, competitor and customer analysis
Analyze market data to introduce and update sales opportunities
Perform needs analysis and recommendation of the right solution based on clients’ needs
Develop a sales strategy for your team to achieve sales goals and revenues
Manage and delegate responsibility for customer accounts to junior sales personnel
Manage key accounts and assigned verticals
Monitor the activities and performance of your sales team
Ensure sales team have the necessary resources to perform properly
Provide coaching, training, feedback and support to junior colleagues
Recommend trainings for your team members based on observed identified training needs
Be actively involved in the preparation of marketing plan as required
Develop sales presentations and proposals
Co-ordinate and monitor sales activity on and offline
Assist budget preparation
Develop promotional ideas and material
Attend trade meetings and industry conventions
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
Cultivate effective business relationships internally and externally
Partner with Talent Acquisition to identify and recruit top sales talent
Mentor employees to help them achieve individual & team objectives
Qualifications
Minimum of a B.Sc. from Top Tier University
Minimum of 7 years’ work experience in Sales, preferably in Telecommunication Industry
Expert in the use of CRM, ERP, PowerPoint, Office Suite
