Job Profile

• We are searching for a talented, smart, and experienced Junior Android Developer ​to join our  effervescent team based in the Lagos Head office.
• The successful applicant will be responsible for  developing mobile apps, review and interpret UI/UX designs, improve on existing apps amongst other things.

Job Definition

• Develop mobile apps that meet standard requirements
• Review and interpret UI/UX designs and translate them into mobile applications.
• Review, modify and improve on existing apps
• Understand and consume external APIs
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
• Continuously discover, evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize
• development efficiency.
• Collaborate with front-end engineers for unified client side experience.

Job Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in android development
• Have published at least one original android app
• Experience with android SDK
• Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
• Solid experience of the android development cycle
• Good understanding of Kotlin is an advantage
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tool - Git
