The Extensionist will work directly with farmers ensuring farmers make right decisions in order to increase agricultural production. He or she will keep the farming community up to date with latest and innovative knowledge and farming techniques.
Job Description
Appropriate latest technology in an indigeneous manner to farmers
Create an enabling environment whereby farmers can share their challenges and seek proper and collective solutions
Apply various extension to teach farmers best agronomic practices
Maintain relationship with farmers through farming cycles
Any other duties that will be assigned
Qualification The candidate:
Must have at least an OND in an Agriculture related field
At least 1 year of proven working experience
Required Competencies:
Good Communication Skill most especially in indigeneous language
