Graduate Trainee - Financial Control at Cardinal Stone

Job Details

• Ensure daily cash balances are obtained & cash position dash board should be updated daily
• Plan funding of all trade settlements (Equities, Fixed income - bonds, T-bills etc).
• Ensure daily CSCS trade settlements and fund transfers
• Ensure settlements of equity proprietary trade balances between CSS &CSP
• Ensure settlements of Fixed Income trading positions. 
• Negotiate Interest rates and bank charges with banks on a regular basis

Manage the firms short term investments in:                               
a. Money market placements - Fixed deposits & T-bills 

b. Capital Market positions - Equities & Bonds                                       
c. Loans and advances to clients     
Act as Fincon Liaison between the Equities and Fixed income traders  
Get investment letters for our FGN Bond, Eurobond, T-Bill, CP and Fixed income investment. 
Properly file all the investment letters  
Job Requirement

• 0- 2 years work experience
• Finance/audit expereince with any top financial or consulting firm is an added advantage
• Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of Second-Class Honors (Upper Division) in a Finance related course
• Relevant professional certification is an added advantage 
• Must have completed NYSC
• Not more than 26 years old
• Passionate about financial services
• Excellent verbal and written communication skill
• Result driven and open to learning
• Excellent team spirit and interpersonal skills
• Microsoft Office savvy
