Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for posting all transactions in the General Ledger to facilitate preparation of monthly management accounts.
• To prepare Trial Balance, financial statements, financial reports and reliable management information reports including profit and loss accounts on a monthly basis.
• To process account payables and ensure all the tax regulations and company financial requirements are met.
• To carry out daily functions of the Accounts department including cash flow analysis, payables, receivables and reconciliations.
• To ensure that records of the company transactions are up to date.
• To ensure records are maintained in accordance with accounting standards.
• To control expenditure within approved budgets, investigate variances and provide analysis/reports

Qualifications/Requirements

• Desired qualification is OND/HND in Accountancy with a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
• Must have good inter-personal skills and the ability to multi task.
• Additional professional qualification is an added advantage.
• Experience in the use of different Accounting softwares.
• High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
• Sound independent judgement.

Skills and Competencies:

• Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite).
• Proficiency in spoken and written English Language.
