Description:
We are looking for a driven and result-oriented individual to drive our business development, sales and marketing efforts as part of our strategic growth plans. You will be responsible for client acquisition and managing relationships with existing clients. You should be comfortable engaging C-suite executives and have proven experience successfully achieving sales target.
Requirements
3-5 years of working experience in a similar role in and IT services or consulting firm.
Degree in Business, Marketing or related field
Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies.
Strong business sense and financial services industry expertise
Proven experience meeting business objectives and driving growth.
Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, Zoho CRM)
Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, results-oriented culture.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Objectives
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following tasks and objectives:
Developing and maintaining commercially productive relationships with new and existing clients ensuring all their needs are met.
Growing our client base and channel accounts to achieve profitable results
Possess a strong understanding of our products, competitors and positioning
Writing business proposals, negotiate terms & conditions and implement contractual agreements
Identifying and mapping business strengths and customer needs
Researching business opportunities and viable income streams
Following industry trends locally and internationally
Devise metrics to gauge both customer satisfaction and team members’ success in achieving set objectives.
In the performance of your duties, you’ll engage in:
Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings
Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives
Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities
Increasing client value
Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.
Attending conferences, meeting, and industry events
Developing goals for the team and ensuring they are met.
Preparing weekly & monthly business development reports
Negotiating with stakeholders
