Forecast accurately tensure the availability of materials for Production at all times
Keep track of product usage and purchasing expectations
Liaise between the production department and the store on reorder levels
Collate project plans and additional information tdetermine timelines and necessary materials needed for production
Coordinate supplier payments with the accounting department
Liaise with suppliers and source for new suppliers tascertain the best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules, and quality while maintaining good relationships with each of them
Liaise between relevant internal departments and customers for all procurement and delivery of raw materials in the store
Requirements
Must have a minimum qualification of B.Sc in Supply Chain Management or related course
Must have at least 4 years’ experience in Material planning and inventory control
Ability tuse a computer or any form of ERP for inventory management and planning
Must be a very organized and detailed person Must be a strong team player
