Overview

• A front facing type of environment working directly with clients to understand requirements and translate them to solutions quickly. You will also need to interface with the back end team consistently. This is a high-paced environment where the tasks have critical impacts on day-to-day operations and thus require the utmost concentration and responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect custom report requirements and build to specification
• Collect custom product customization requirements and build to specification
• Collect integration requirements and build API’s to specification (Channel Integrations)
• Perform application System Integration Tests.
• Undertake software design and development activities as part of a project team.
• Provide expert technical assistance and mentoring to staff.
• Review work to ensure completion criteria are met.
• Undertake tasks within agreed time-frame.
• Assist in assessing the performance of staff that have undertaken activities under your direct supervision.
• Collaborate with QA and DevOps team on continuous integration and delivery as well as automated and manual testing to ensure good quality solutions are delivered
• Participate in an agile delivery process, research and recommend new solutions

Educational Requirement

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or another technical discipline

Professional Requirement:

• Minimum 5 years demonstrated industry experience in the development of software systems and components.
• Minimum 3 years of experience developing enterprise java applications using Spring

Requirement:

• Experience designing, developing, securing and consuming Web services (Restful and SOAP-based services).
• Proven experience building enterprise solutions with Java 8, Hibernate, Spring MVC and Spring Boot
• Hands on experience with relational and NoSQL databases - MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Redis
• Experience developing restful APIs, Micro-Services and other distributed systems.
• Expertise in using java build systems and DevOps tools – TeamCity, Jenkins, Maven, Gradle and Docker.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests for large scale projects.
• Experience working with Java EE application containers – Wildfly
• Strong objected oriented design and Server Side (Java)development skills
• Working experience of Hibernate and Relational database
• Working experience with real-time programming/real-time data distribution
• High performance matching engines
• Transaction Processing Engines
• Proprietary APIs
• High performance messaging
• Server application performance tuning and optimization
• Experience developing high throughput / low latency, resilient server applications
• Experience on software design pattern and UML model tools
• Working experience of in-memory caching products
