    Web Administrator

    Details:

    Summary of responsibilities:

    Oversee company needs in the aspect of its website, handle daily challenges and manage internal and external customers’ expectations. Continuously work to strategically expand, preserve and improve the company’s web and social media outlook, standards and profitability while sticking to the business edicts and regulatory guidelines. 

    Roles & Responsibilities: 

    • Collaborate with development teams to discuss, analyze or resolve usability issues.
    • Track, compile, and analyze web site usage data.
    • Document application and web site changes or change procedures.
    • Develop and document style guidelines for website content.
    • Test new software packages for use in web operations or other applications.
    • Develop or implement procedures for web site revision.
    • Set up or maintain monitoring tools on web servers or web sites.
    • Test backup or recovery plans regularly and resolve any problems.
    • Recommend web site and social medial presence improvements and develop budgets to support recommendations.
    • Implement updates, upgrades and patches in a timely manner to limit loss of service.
    • Identify, standardize and communicate levels of access and security.
    • Inform internal web site users of problems, problem resolutions or application changes and updates.
    • Provide training or technical assistance in web site implementation or use to internal customers.
    • Perform user testing or usage analyses to determine web sites’ effectiveness or usability.
    • Evaluate or recommend server hardware or software and develop testing routines and procedures.
    • Identify or document backup or recovery plans.
    • Gather, analyze or document user feedback to locate or resolve sources of problems.
    • Back up or modify applications and related data to provide for disaster recovery.
    • Develop and implement strategies to increase social media presence of the ALML group brand.
    • Develop innovative ideas to improve online service delivery.
    • Determine sources of web page or server problems and take action to correct such problems.
    • Review or update web page content or links in a timely manner, using appropriate tools.
    • Implement web site security measures, such as firewalls or message encryption.
    • Monitor systems for intrusions or denial of service attacks and report security breaches to appropriate personnel.
    • Administer internet/intranet infrastructure, including components such as web, file transfer protocol (FTP), news and mail servers. IT Support Network Administrator.
    • Ensure that all web activities across the group are in line with allocated budget, cost and efficiency target to meet the organization’s business objectives.
    • Ensure good relations and communications with all managers.
    • Any other duties as assigned by the Head of department.

    Qualifications and essential requirements:

    • 1-2 years of web development experience
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Computer engineering or any related
    • Proficient computer skills- Microsoft Office Suite and In-Design (or other desktop publishing software (PowerPoint/Excel/Project/Word), Project management, website development.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with progressive leadership skills.
