Instrument Supervisor at Pivot GIS Limited

Qualified candidates should have the following:

• HND / B.Eng. in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Physics/Electronics.
• 5yrs Experience in Oil and Gas industry in related field.

Basic Functions:

• Safely  perform  daily  proactive  &  corrective  Instrument  maintenance  activities strictly adhering to the PTW requirements.
• Participate  in  Root  Cause  Analysis  and  improvement  Campaign  as  part  of continuous improvement and defect elimination.
• Timely entry of work reports in the CMMS and close-out of Pacer & PTW.

Principal Responsibilities:

To ensure that Instrument Maintenance activities are carried out and to support safe implementation of all aspects of Instrument jobs in line with the approved work plan, schedule and in compliance with the Instrument Safety Rules NLNG Life Saving Rules, Worksite Hazard Management Specification and work instructions.

Technical / Business Skills:

• Have the ability to read and understand engineering drawings, specifications and standards, work instructions and procedures.
• Competent in Communicating in English Language, repot writing.
• Proficient in use of MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
• Theoretical and practical knowledge of Field instruments, process measurement, basic fault finding and Safety considerations.

Interpersonal Skills:

• Should be a Team player with demonstrable oral and written communication skills.
• Sound safety orientation, communication and dedication.
• Possess  good  problem  solving  and  Analytical  Skills  and  interest  in  self- development.

Competencies:

• Knowledge & experience of safe work practices in a Gas Plant, Refinery or similar industrial environment.
• Ability to carry general field Instrumentation and maintenance and should display knowledge of QA/QC and relevant regulations, standards and codes.
