Senior Implementation and Support Consultant at GODP Consulting

Position Overview

The Senior Implementation and Support Consultant is responsible for leading teams for the successful and timely execution of implementation, research and support projects while using the adhering to the firm’s methodologies. Senior Implementation and Support Consultant will be responsible for leading and coordinating of implementation, research, test and support activities. Ability to implement, support, research and test applications are important, in addition to a good understanding of Microsoft SQL, Oracle DB and MySQL. This is a hands-on leadership role where the employee can expect to directly contribute to implementation and support projects.

Responsibilities

• Leading multidimensional software implementation projects and developing valuable client relationships
• Collaborating with client executives to understand and execute customer perspectives, objectives and initiatives
• Design optimal processes and software configurations to fulfill these goals
• Configuring client systems and validating client software user-adoption
• Training client’s results management teams on our software and recommended best practices
• Providing advisory services to help clients best use our software products
• Generating ideas for future product development and participating in testing of new product releases
• Drive POCs to assess new solution/application paths
• Lead development of formalized integration methodologies
• Manages a team of direct reports  who drive service lines in the implementation, support, integration and other such services that would be required by clients in relations to the GOS Software projects
• Perform validation and verification testing
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products
• Ensure software is up-to-date with latest technologies
• Contribute to development, review, and maintenance of product requirements documents, technical design documents and functional specifications
• Participate in regular status meetings to track progress, communicate risks and escalate concerns in a timely manner
• Help establish quality methodologies, metrics, and standards to track and improve engineering productivity
• Collaborate with product and project management, Quality Assurance, Support, Marketing, and executive management to ensure the development team meets software release schedules, goals, and objectives
• Manage and motivate staff
• Technical Experience
• Understanding of Microsoft SQL and Oracle Database is a must
• Understanding of MySQL is a plus
• Proficient in managing software  implementation projects
• Proficient in SSIS and other integration strategies
• Net, C#, PHP
• Understanding of API development and SOA
• Proficient in XML/SOAP
• Proficient in distributed systems, cloud-based architecture, and cloud functions
• Experience with JavaScript is a plus

Requirements

• BSc/HND in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics & Electrical Engineering, or other related field.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar position
