Planning and Operations Intern at ConnectRail Service Limited

The internship level in the planning profession often represents the first practical contact a prospective planner makes with the profession.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Keeping adequate records and monitoring all export and Import at the Terminal
• Confirming the status of all export and ensuring they meet ALL requirement from the destination terminals
• Planning of Import and Export loading
• Advising for loading of the Good to go units at the terminal.
• Email communication with terminals during operations.
• Ensures trucks meets ALL Gate-in and Gate-out requirements.
• Getting slots from terminals

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

• Minimum of HND with an understanding in planning and operations
• 2 years’ experience in logistics/transportation
• Excellent communication skills as both written and verbal.

• Enthusiasm for problem-solving

• Attention to detail
• Ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization

• A creative and entrepreneurial mindset, always looking for ways to improve our product, operational processes, and overall business
• Adaptable - able to thrive in a growing, and changing the organization
• Strong with Excel and word
