Ware House/Logistics Officer at GZ Industries

ROLE:

• Assist  in the  strategic management of the  warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision
• Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations
• Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilisation
• Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
• Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements
• Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security
• Maintain the QMS and FSSC standard requirements for GZI
• Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system
• Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies
• Plan work rotas, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results
• Assist in the development, orientation, coaching, motivation and performance management of employees in warehouse.
• Produce timely  reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report etc)
• Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided
• Responsible for the implementation, maintenance and continual improvement of the integrated management system (ISO9001, ISO14001, OHSAS18001)  and food safety Management system

REQUIREMENT:

• First Degree in social/management  sciences
• Should possess advanced computer literacy and be able to input data.
• Excellent SAP knowledge
• Excellent Team  Leadership abilities
• 5  years cognate experience
• Good  oral and verbal communication skills
• Can do mentality
• Excellent planning abilities
