Factory Operations Supervisor at FoodPro

Summary/Mission: Supervise production, logistics and procurement operations to run smoothly and delight customers with on-time, cost-effective and quality products.

Position Description:

• Oversee Production
• Assist in the setting and meeting production targets and plans
• Develop progressive manufacturing processes and tools are documented and followed
• Obtain and maintain certifications

Ensure that improvement plans are in place for:

• Safety
• Quality
• Cost reduction
• Material flow
• Training
• Cycle time
• Oversee Warehouse
• Achieve high levels of excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching and assuring quality of goods
• Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employee’s performance
• Organize and maintain inventory and storage area
• Ensure shipments’ and inventory transactions’ accuracy
• Maintain items record, document necessary information and utilize reports to project warehouse status
• Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices
• Oversee Procurement/logistics/supply chain
• Set and met procurement targets and plans
• Ensure timely material delivery to the factory (includes non-RCNs, such as packaging, flavoring etc)
• Source & negotiate raw material purchases to plan and surge capability (quality, cost, delivery, terms)
• Introduce, use and improve progressive procurement processes
• Reduce new product introduction time
• Ensure timely, cost-effective final product delivery to customers (at some point)

Experienced Required:

• Minimum of 3-5 successful years’ Operation experience. Experience in Manufacturing (edibles) is ideal.
• Drive, determination and commitment to get things done.
• Confident, with a high level of self-motivation, possessing the ability to work to own initiative and possessing a hands-on attitude.
• Ability to work well with others, network and build relationships and to have a strong impact on performance within the organization.
