Purpose

• Driver is responsible for the delivery and picking up of both customers and items in a timely, safe and courteous manner
• The Driver ensures that company’s vehicle allocated to him is taken care properly.
• He must have very effective organisational communication skills to service our clients.

Key Areas Of Responsibilities
The key roles of Driver are:

• Competent at checking the vehicle for problems and performing pre/post trip maintenance tasks.
• Committed to helping customers efficiently when loading and unloading their luggage.
• Well-versed in the cleaning of both the inside and outside of the vehicle.
• Proven record of picking up staffs and listening to their concerns.
• Able to give accurate and detailed information about routes and journey.
• Demonstrated ability to provide a secure environment for passengers and employer while in transit.
• Thorough understanding of motor vehicle engine functionality.
• Effective skills in keeping a record of miles traveled.
• Familiar with all traffic laws and regulations.

Required Competencies and Attributes

• Competency in demonstrating a high level of courtesy and professionalism to customers and staffs.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Pro-active, ability to work under pressure and possess initiative without direction.
• Key Performance Indicators Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle.
• Maintain accurate vehicle records via a log book.
• Complete the vehicle inspection checklist and report any issues which cannot be rectified to the Head of Driver/Facility Supervisor
• Corporately dressed at all time.

Experience and Qualifications

• Minimum School Certificate Holder.
• Minimum of four (5) years’ experience in a related position.
• Applicants must have an in-depth knowledge of Lagos route.
