Accountant at HR Aid

Responsibilities

• Ensure that financial transactions are properly recorded and updated
• Maintain all accounting records in conformance with generally accepted accounting principles 
• Assist in budget preparation and ensure all expenses are within budget 
• Implement financial policies and procedures
• Monitor account payables 
• Process vendor invoices, identify and resolve invoicing issues and accounting discrepancies
• Track and ensure prompt payment of school fees and other receivables 
• Process monthly payroll in a timely manner
• File taxes 

The ideal individual:

• should preferably have some accounting experience in a school
• should have up to 5 years of accounting experience
• should be able to communicate effectively at all levels of an organization
• should be able to prepare, analyze and interprete financial statements
