JOB DESCRIPTION

• Implement and manage the quality control environment
• Manage Health, Safety, Risk And Environment
• Ensure compliance with national and international standards and legislation
• Protect organization reputation and product integrity
• Promote quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization
• Assess product specifications of the company and its suppliers, against customer requirements
• Work with procurement staff to establish and implement quality requirements/specifications from external suppliers
• Set up and maintain controls and documentation procedures.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by the management

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Should have a minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry or equivalent.
• Should have a minimum of 4-5 years’ experience in Laboratory, Food Processing and Packaging operations

• Good communicator, with effective team-coordination skills

• Advanced knowledge and use of Microsoft office suites
