Remote support of on-site engineers and end users/customer
To work within the network security unit providing all necessary contributions to the solution areas of the unit
Remote troubleshooting and fault finding when issues occur
Capacity management and audit of IP addressing and hosted devices within data centres
Liaising with project management teams, third-line engineers and service desk engineers on a regular basis
Speaking with customers via email and phone for initial requirement capture
Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, load balancers, VPN, QoS,firewalls)
Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, configurations
Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability
Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity plannin
Provide Level-2 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues
REQUIREMENTS:
University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related subject
Minimum of 4 years in an ICT Operating environment with hands on experience in Network Administration, Collaborations, Systems, Network Security, LAN/WAN optimization, Project delivery, Technical solutions designing
CCIE, CCNP, CCNA, or any other relevant professional qualification
