Lead Commissioning Engineer at Prime Services

Prime Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing all technical queries
• Reviews contractual documentation and engineering documents to ensure that the commissioning & start-up requirements are accounted for in the design.
• Prepares and keeps up-to-date the pre-commissioning and commissioning execution plans (including the schedule and the mobilization of personnel and equipment).
• Supervises the preparation of the pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures.
• Supervises the preparation of the performance test procedures and of the operating manuals with the process team.
• Assists procurement group for the definition of vendor assistance
• Assists subcontract group for the scope definition of work contractors.
• Manages the execution of pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up.
• Provide overall commissioning engineering expertise to project activities
• Drive the Contractor completion plan and transition from area to systems completion, pro-commissioning and handover.

Qualification

• B.Eng. in any Engineering or technical discipline. Master qualification, Professional certification/membership of COREN will be an added advantage.

Experience:

• 7 - 10 years or more experience in field construction and shop fabrication for major Projects in the oil, gas, and/or petrochemical industries.
• Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in offshore construction work such as installation of platform facilities, hook-up and commissioning and pipeline construction and commissioning.
