Job Responsibilities

• Mobile application/ Web developer required, as a very exciting position has arisen for a start up based in VI, Lagos.
• You will be involved in developing mobile applications for IOS and Android, with a strong focus on streamlining the customer journey, utilising mobile technology to do so.
• For the position of mobile application developer, you will need to be hardworking, talented and have a thirst for programming and problem-solving.
• We are looking for a real mobile applications enthusiast, someone who lives and breathes this stuff! Someone who wants to be a trail blazer, market leader and an absolute applications Guru!
• There is an opportunity to work within a exciting new area of smart technology, the Senior Mobile Applications developer will have an eagerness to work on something completely new (greenfield) across iOS, Android and Windows.
• The possibilities are endless with this role and your imagination will be the only thing holding you back.

Requirements
Your Experience:

• You could be someone who has been working in this area for the last few years that is looking to be involved with something more than the next App game craze, something more Senior that will mean progression, eventually team leading and working towards a Principle role. Or you could be an experienced C# engineer looking to get into something interesting and different but just needs someone to give you that break and change your career.
• We are also looking for a web developer who is skilled in designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting and supporting mid-size to large-scale websites and applications.
• Must be able to create, understand and explain detailed specifications and business requirements in order to deliver business value
• We are looking for an exceptional candidate with a strong work ethic and ability to work on own initiatives.
• You will be working on enhancing existing Apps as well creating new ones. We are looking for a wide range of skills but are open to different levels Profile

You will have the following skills for this role:

• Must have knowledge of Python
• Proven Web Design experience.
• Excellent knowledge of WordPress
• 2 years + experience within a similar role ideally within corporates or ecommerce
• Adobe Creative Suite – in particular Photoshop and Illustrator
• Experienced in HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, PHP, Node js, Angular js, JavaScript and responsive web design
• A knowledge of UX best practices
• Knowledge of PPC, Digital & Social Media marketing
• Ability to design across multiple channels including desktop and mobile app
• Passion for web design
• Strong background in Web design / or online marketing experience, in a customer facing role.
• Experience in delivering web campaign graphics to engage customers and ultimately lead to increased conversions.
• You should have experience with content management systems.
• Experience with Google Website Analytics and Optimizer
• Be very organised and able to manage your time effectively
• You must be a good communicator and feel confident managing the team relationships.
• Show creative skills and drive a culture of continuous process improvement
• Experience using CRMs, NetSuite or equivalent online system would be advantageous.
• Must be proficient in content management systems like (CMS) WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, Magento, Presta shop amongst others.
• Experience with C#
• .NET, MVVM and XAML
• Xamarin experience is desirable
• Experienced in using Subversion, Jira. Not-essential, but beneficial

Required skills:

• 2+ years Commercial experience developing mobile applications for IOS/Android
• Experience with development using Xamarin C# and objective C
• Comfortable binding third-party native libraries for Xamarin integration
• Can talk in depth about apps you have worked on
• The ability to multitask and work under pressure
• Self-motivated and able to work within a dynamic environment

Great to have:

• JQuery development
• Objective-C, swift or java experience
• Worked in an Agile environment
• Xamarin Studio / Visual Studio
• Experience with C#
• Knowledge of Python
