Lead Pipeline Engineer at Benedetto

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Lead Engineer.
• Minimum 14 years experience.
• Previous Oil & Gas and Refinery experience.

Responsibility

• Must have a Degree qualified in a relevant discipline.
• Extensive pipeline engineering experience within the oil & gas industry, with considerable and demonstrable background as Lead Engineer.
• Civil, Structural or Mechanical engineer with experience in detailed design of subsea oil & gas pipelines and pipeline systems.
• The ability to lead a technical team.
• Demonstrable oil & gas pipeline design experience (onshore & offshore), in-depth knowledge of international pipeline codes and standards and previous involvement in the development of pipeline engineering specifications and standards is essential.
• Good knowledge of construction and installation of pipelines and pipeline facilities and components.
• Good written and spoken English language communication skills are absolutely necessary for consideration.

Job Scope:

• Championing achievement of all project objectives including safety, cost, schedule, security, risk and quality.
• Ensure Satisfactory performance of all pipeline design engineering activities undertaken on a project including the coordination and supervision of subordinates assigned to their responsibility.
• Supporting project interface management.
• Provide technical support and guidance to engineers supervised by them in accordance with engineering design requirements.
• Reviewing the deliverable expectation list and scope, to deliver Project objectives.
• Ensure all project documentation is prepared and maintained in accordance with company standards.
• Keep abreast of the technical developments in their area of technology and with associated national and international standards.
• Contribute to maintenance of company and department procedures and methods.
