Music Teacher at BridgeHall Academy

Requirements:

• A strong passion for students
• Must have at least 1 year experience working with children ages 2-12 year olds
• Passion for and strong knowledge of the instructional academic content
• Ability to play and teach multiple instruments 
• Understanding of and passion for musical classical education
• Ability to implement classical teaching curricula and methods
• Ability and patience to work interactively with students
• Ability to understand the academic needs of students
• Strong organizational, time management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships
• Ability to communicate with all levels of students
• Ability to transition with changes
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Flexibility in schedule 
• Computer literate

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Prepare effective lessons, instruct, and motivate students 
• Assign lessons and correct classwork and homework in a timely manner.
• Administer formative and summative assessments to evaluate student progress.
• Provide academic solutions for struggling students.
• Regularly communicate with head of school to discuss student progress – positive and negative.
• Performs all other duties as assigned

Educational Requirement 

At least a Bachelor's Degree
