Do you know what you say have an effect on you and on the team generally? The use of words and their context is important and plays a huge role in how much you can motivate your team or colleagues.
If your team sees you as someone who is never happy, never speaks encouraging words and sees no good in anything, they will start seeing you in that light and this can have a negative impact on the team as a whole if you are a manager or as someone to be avoided if you are a team member. That is kinda of a recipe for disaster.
However on the other hand, if you are someone who encourages, has positive words for everyone and motivates people, it also has an effect on the team. That is why words are important and how we use it.
The power of positivity is important and has a general effect on boosting people's moral. Most people and I am sure, everyone would rather spend time around someone who has a positive outlook towards life and is positive about things than spend it with someone who is melancholic and put people down emotionally.
