Job Purpose

• The Radio Transmission Engineer is responsible for planning, installing, maintaining, and optimizing radio transmission networks to ensure seamless connectivity and service quality for Hoop Telecoms Limited clients. The role ensures high availability of the radio network, supports fault resolution, and contributes to service expansion and performance improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Network Planning & Implementation

• Plan, design, and execute radio transmission links (microwave, point-to-point, and point-to-multipoint).
• Conduct site surveys for new installations and prepare technical reports.
• Install, configure, and integrate radio transmission equipment and accessories.

Operations & Maintenance

• Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on transmission equipment.
• Monitor link performance and ensure minimal downtime.
• Troubleshoot and resolve transmission faults within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Optimization & Quality Assurance

• Ensure optimal capacity, coverage, and quality of radio links.
• Carry out performance monitoring and link budget analysis.
• Recommend and implement system upgrades for efficiency and scalability.

Technical Support & Documentation

• Provide technical support to the Service Management team and customers when required.
• Maintain updated documentation of transmission links, equipment inventory, and maintenance logs.
• Assist in preparing network reports and performance statistics for management.

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure compliance with Hoop Telecoms’ engineering standards, procedures, and health & safety policies.
• Adhere to industry regulations and guidelines during installation and maintenance.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Radio Transmission Engineer or in a similar telecommunications role.
• Strong knowledge of radio transmission systems, microwave technology, and network infrastructure.
• Proficiency in using tools for link planning and performance monitoring.
• Familiarity with telecom standards, safety procedures, and SLA management.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and report-writing skills.

Job Purpose

• The Company Driver is responsible for providing safe, reliable, and timely transportation services for employees, materials, and official assignments.
• The role ensures adherence to traffic laws, vehicle maintenance, and company policies while supporting smooth business operations at Hoop Telecoms Limited.

Key Responsibilities
Driving & Transportation:

• Safely drive company staff, visitors, and executives to destinations as instructed.
• Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off of personnel and materials.
• Deliver official documents, parcels, and other items promptly.

Vehicle Maintenance & Safety:

• Conduct daily checks on the assigned vehicle (fuel, oil, tires, brakes, etc.).
• Ensure vehicles are kept clean, serviced, and in good working condition.
• Promptly report any faults, accidents, or maintenance needs to the Administrative Unit.

Compliance & Record Keeping:

• Adhere strictly to traffic laws, regulations, and company driving policies.
• Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and trip details.
• Ensure all vehicle documents (insurance, licenses, permits) are valid and updated.

Support Services:

• Assist administrative staff in running office errands when required.
• Provide logistical support during company events, field operations, or emergencies.
• Ensure passengers’ safety, comfort, and confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE / OND certificate.
• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Minimum of 2 years driving experience (corporate driving experience preferred).
• Good knowledge of Lagos roads and traffic regulations.
• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions.
• Strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and punctuality.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
