Responsibilities

• Thoroughly review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to ensure quality standards and provide timely, constructive feedback.
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open-sourced tools
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
• After resolving bugs, ensure extensive regression testing is performed.
• Measure and analyze QA data points like defect density and outstanding defect totals.
• Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Proven work experience in software development, and software quality assurance.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing, and automated testing tools
• Proficiency in programming languages, testing tools, and version control systems.
• Proficient in developing and implementing comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Hands-on experience with various automation testing tools and frameworks.
• Prior experience in software testing or quality assurance roles.
• Experience in uncovering defects through sharp problem-solving and meticulous testing practices.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, and conduct interviews, surveys, and workshops to gather information.
• Review and analyze workflows to detect process gaps and suggest improvements.
• Organize and present findings and suggestions through meetings and presentations.
• Assist in testing and validating solutions to confirm they meet specified requirements.
• Evaluate current processes to identify areas for enhancement and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in business administration, business analytics management, information systems or a related field.
• Ability to effectively communicate and influence key stakeholders to support proposed strategies, process improvements and operational decisions
• Resourcefulness and creative problem-solving skills
• Experience testing and mapping various business processes and protocols
• Familiarity with industry technology systems to gather data
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Excel, SQL, and business intelligence software.
