    Production Manager


    • Monitoring factory sanitation and hygiene in accordance with SOPs for cleaning and sanitation. Also ensuring that First – Expire – First - Out (FEFO) is practiced at all times for waste reduction and effective cost management.
    • Production, Planning, Supervision and coordination of processes from raw materials, handling to packaging with closest attention to critical control points (CCP) to ensure good quality products.
    • Managing, supervision and monitoring of processes from coding, printing, capping, mixing, filling and packaging by ensuring good manufacturing practice at all times.
    • Relate, coordinate and liaise with regulatory bodies such as NAFDAC, SON, government ministries etc. as regards product registration, importation of raw materials, sanitation, hygiene, production process and quality control.
    • Oversee the production processes, drawing up a production schedule and ensuring production is cost effective.
    • Stock monitoring, stock reconciliation and reorder level to avoid stock out as per production.
    • Working knowledge of food safety tools such as lean manufacturing, 5’S of production, six – sigma, 5’P of production.
    • Relate and work with relevant regulatory bodies such as NAFDAC, SON, Government ministries/agencies etc. as regards effective good manufacturing practices.
    • Responsible for the selection of raw materials and maintenance of machine and equipment to avoid break down and downtime as per OEE and KPIs.
    • Training of production personnel on how to achieve broad quality standard and regulation.
    • Monitoring of products’ standards, implementation of quality standards, and also liaise with sales department to ensure total quality management system.
    • Application of food safety plans and quality management system such as ISO, HACCP, GMP, SOP etc. and also ensure that health, safety and environment guidelines are followed.
    • Documentation and daily preparation of production reports to the MD.
    • Holding periodic meetings with the sales team and working on market feedback.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • B.Sc or equivalent in Industrial Chemistry, Chemistry, Food Technology or related disciplines
    • Minimum of 5 years post qualification experience as a Production Manager in a food production or similar regulatory industry
    • Must be a Male.

    Key Competencies Required:

    • High Attention to Detail Pro-active approach to Work
    • High level of Numeracy Highly Computer Literate.
