Job Details

• Takes samples of products from the production line for Quality analyses
• Maintains equipment in optimum condition
• Keeps the environment of the refinery clean in line with GMP and 5S philosophy
• Operates the equipment through SCADA to obtain consistent and continuous operation of the plant in line with the detailed production plans.
• Takes readings of gauges and meters at regular intervals
• Makes records of operational parameters
• Troubleshoots minor problems
• To comply with all safety rules laid down in the refinery
• Ensures all production tank levels are known and accurate during operations
• Fills and maintains adequate levels of process chemicals for the refining process.
• Replaces all filters as at when due as stated in the operational plans
• Prepares equipment and raw materials according to the processing schedule.
• To ensure compliance with relevant AIB, QMS, Food Safety, OHS & EMS policies and procedures.
• To identify and rate aspects of the departmental activities and develop programs where necessary, to help control those aspects that could have adverse impact on the environment.

Job Details

• Regulate and control the flow of effluent through the plant by operating and adjusting treatment plant pumps, motors, blowers, and other equipment to maintain proper plant operations.
• Mix and add treatment chemicals and ensure adequate chemical application according to regulations and guidelines.
• Maintain, compile, and update plant operations logs, gauge readings, and reports during assigned shift
• Collect and document liquid and solid samples and perform a variety of routine water quality laboratory tests; work closely with the laboratory on testing processes; monitor laboratory results
• Assist in periodic maintenance work, including disassembly and repair of pumps, valves, flow meters, and other plant equipment
• Perform general plant facility maintenance, oil, grease, and clean equipment
• Participate in the development of goals and procedures for wastewater treatment activities
• Maintain factory cleanliness & orderliness at all times.
• Perform related duties as required
• Carry out continuous plant improvement program
