    Sound Engineer

    Our client, a reputable firm is looking to fill the position of a SOUND ENGINEER

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Meeting with clients to determine the requirements and specifications of recordings or performances.
    • Safely setting up, repairing, servicing, and replacing equipment when required.
    • Manipulating and enhancing live and recorded audio.
    • Diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment.
    • Understanding briefs and making helpful suggestions if possible and appropriate.
    • Editing and mixing audio to client specifications.
    • Improvising props to produce required sounds.
    • Keeping abreast of advancements in the field through ongoing training and networking with others in the industry.
    • Building solid, professional relationships with other artists and clients.


    REQUIREMENTS

    • BSC/HND in related field.
    • Minimum of 2 years  experience as a sound engineer
    • Record of participation in audiovisual projects is advantageous.
    • Practical experience with recording, editing, and mixing software.
    • Familiarity with audio mixing consoles, microphones, and equalizers.
    • Ability to follow instructions and remain professional under pressure.
    • Sound troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
    • Experience in a church setting is an added advantage.

    Internal Control Officer

    Our client; a reputable firm in the MANUFACTURING industry is looking to fill the role of an INTERNAL CONTROL OFFICER          
     RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Perform and control the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations’ effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations 
    • Determine internal audit scope and develop annual plans 
    • Obtain, analyze and evaluate accounting documentation, reports, data, flowcharts etc 
    • Review and approve transactions in line with laid down policies.  
    • Prepare and present reports that reflect audit’s results and document process 
    • Act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality and goal achievement 
    • Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings 
    • Maintain open communication with management and audit committee 
    • Document process and prepare audit findings memorandum 
    • Conduct follow up audits to monitor management’s interventions 
    • Engage to continuous knowledge development regarding sector’s rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques, and performance standards 

    REQUIREMENT

    • BSc degree in Accounting or Finance
    • An ACA qualification will be an advantage
    • 3-5years experience in internal control and audit in manufacturing
    • Must have experience with tools and software to be used for compliance – Odoo.com.
    • Proven working experience as Internal Auditor or Senior Auditor
    • Prior work experience in using an ERP system (Odoo etc.) and Office 365
    • Ability to manipulate large amounts of data and to compile detailed report s
    • Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules, and regulations
    • Strong knowledge of implementing policies and SOP
    • Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
    • Analytical skills to study problems and records and identify solutions.

    Slitting Machine Operator (Tissue Paper)

    Our client; a reputable firm in the TISSUE PAPER sector is looking to fill the role of a SLITTING MACHINE OPERATOR

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Operate slitting machines to cut rolls of material into narrower widths according to specifications.
    • Performing safety checks on equipment to ensure that it is functioning properly before production begins
    • Inspecting slitting machinery for defects and making repairs as needed
    • Installing new equipment or machinery, including programming computers and troubleshooting problems with existing equipment
    • Reading drawings or other instructions to determine the number of sheets that will be produced by a run, and adjusting settings accordingly
    • Monitoring equipment operation to ensure that it continues to run smoothly, efficiently, and safely
    • Maintaining logs of production cycles and equipment maintenance activities
    • Operating slitting machines by using hydraulic controls to start and stop equipment and to adjust blade height and tension settings
    • Observing gauges to monitor cutting speed, tension settings, blade alignment, and blade sharpness
    • Installing, operating, monitoring, maintaining, and repairing equipment used to cut up large rolls of material into smaller rolls
    • Read and interpret work orders and blueprints to determine slitting dimensions
    • Set up and adjust cutting blades and rollers, using hand tools
    • Start machines and observe operation to ensure that materials are being slit correctly


    REQUIREMENTS

    • BSC/HND in related field
    • Must have worked in a TISSUE PAPER PRODUCING COMPANY
    • Minimum of 3 years work experience in a tissue paper producing company. 
    • Must be experienced in using slitter machine cutting tools
    • Must have safety work certificate to operate machinery safely.
