    Network & Infrastructure Officer

    Job Summary

    As a Network & Infrastructure Officer, you will support and optimize IT infrastructure with a strong focus on Office 365 application management, system integration, and hardware/software systems troubleshooting. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in IT support, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

    Job Details

    IT Helpdesk

    • Network Administration: Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
    • Troubleshooting: Identify, diagnose, and resolve network-related issues, including connectivity problems, slow performance, and security breaches.
    • Network Security: Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and antivirus software.
    • Network Monitoring: Monitor network performance, identify potential issues, and take proactive measures to prevent downtime.
    • Technical Support: Provide technical support and guidance to users, either in person or remotely, to resolve network-related issues.
    • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network infrastructure, configurations, and procedures.
    • Compliance: Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
    • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other IT team members to resolve complex technical issues and implement new technologies.

    Business Support:

    • Provide training and user guides for common IT processes and best practices.
    • Analyze and report on IT performance metrics to optimize support processes.
    • Training: Conduct training sessions for staff on new technologies, software applications, and IT policies.

    Requirements

    • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT operations or related roles.
    • IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Microsoft, Cisco, ITIL) are a plus.
    • Knowledge of network protocols, APIs, and system integration.
    • Experience with database management, data migration, and security protocols.
    • Knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
    • Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and cloud-based applications.
    • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, and macOS operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, M365, Teams, Outlook, and common business applications.

    Risk Officer

    Job Summary

    The Risk Officer will be directly responsible for overseeing the risk management function to identify, measure, assess and mitigate internal and external risks that may hinder Norrenberger Securities from achieving its strategic objectives.

    Job Details

    • Develop and renew policies promptly.
    • Oversees the identification and risk mitigation procedures in the Company.
    • Guides to ensure that adequate risk management policies are designed, and well implemented by subsidiaries
    • Oversee monitoring of macro-economic activities that may affect the NSL’s business activities, to proactively identify and assess the impact of risks inherent in the Company's business operations
    • Supervises the collation of risk data to aid reporting to Management and the Board. This is done weekly, monthly and quarterly. This covers credit risk, market risk, operational risk and other critical risk areas.
    • Develop and implement a standardized risk management framework.
    • Monitor to ensure that the business and operational risks are kept within standard acceptable limit.
    • Assesses and monitors adequacy/quality of adherence to internal control procedures.
    • Escalate identified weaknesses in controls to the Group Enterprise Assurance and recommends workable solutions.
    • Analyze various financial data to estimate the degree of risk and level of associated risk involved in establishing a business or partnership relationship with firms or individuals.
    • Provide regular accurate and objective reports/updates to inform and guide management.
    • Prepare and submit Risk assessment reports (issues, recommendations) to Group Enterprise Assurance.
    • Ensure that the Group's annual Risk & Control plan is implemented within the assigned timelines.
    • Conduct research and prepare reports on trending risk issues within the industry to be used for decision purposes by the Group Enterprise Assurance.
    • Analyze the impact of action plans on identified risk profiles.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance-related discipline.
    • Minimum of 4 years of cumulative relevant working experience in Risk management or the Internal Audit in the Equity Space.
    • MBA or Masters in a related discipline is an advantage.
    • Relevant professional certifications e.g. Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) or Association of Certified and Chartered Accountants (ACCA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), International Certificate in Enterprise Risk Management (ICERM).
    • Member of CIS is an added advantage.
    • Personable - ability to build relationships and partnerships internally and externally.
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
    • Ability to understand broader business issues.
    • Experience assessing risk profiles in a structured environment

    Chief Investment Officer

    Job Summary

    The Chief Investment Officer (CIO) will be responsible for overseeing and guiding the firm’s investment strategies, AuM growth, portfolio management, and research initiatives. This senior executive will lead the investment team, ensuring alignment with the company’s objectives while optimizing risk-adjusted returns for our clients. The Chief Investment Officer Oversees financial and commercial risk, present selected transactions to the Fund’s Advisory Committee.

    Job Details

     

    • Sales: Build the firm’s Assets Under Management through strategic networks and relationships.
    • Investment Strategy: Develop and implement the firm’s investment strategy across various asset classes.
    • Familiarise with the Business Plan and should demonstrate ability to execute the Business Plan of the Fund
    • Serve as the senior investment executive and expert in all aspects of Investment and Portfolio Management for the Fund, from ‘deal-flow to execution
    • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing investment team, fostering a culture of results and deliverables tracking.
    • Client Engagement: Work closely with HNI clients to understand their needs, provide strategic advice, and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
    • Performance Reporting: Regularly report to the CEO and Board of Directors on investment performance, strategy execution, and market conditions.
    • Serve as a member of the Investment Committee and provide sound and fully supported recommendations and advice on the investment mandates as well as execute formulated investment strategy by sourcing and underwriting transactions
    • Strategic Partnerships: Establish and maintain relationships with external partners to enhance the firm’s investment capabilities.
    • Ensure that the activities of the Fund are in compliance with the framework and guidelines instituted or approved by the Project Parties and in accordance with the applicable law and regulations
    • Compliance: Ensure all investment activities comply with regulatory requirements and the firm’s ethical standards.
    • Innovation: Identify and explore new investment opportunities, including emerging markets, technologies, and alternative investments.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 8 years of experience in investment management, with a proven track record in portfolio management and investment strategy.
    • A degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. An advanced degree (MBA, CFA, or equivalent) is highly preferred.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex investment concepts to a diverse audience.
    • Experience in leading Fund Managers and driving financial projects.
    • Deep understanding of investment regulations and compliance standards.
