    Category Manager - Wells & Subsurface Operations

    Job Description

    • Analysing data or insights to determine industry and Market trends regarding Well Construction and Subsurface Product and Service category.
    • Formulate strategic long-term plan for Well contraction and subsurface service and product categories in consultation with internal business teams, Contractors, regulators, JV partners and stakeholders.
    • Conduct market intelligence, innovations, opportunities, and trend within well construction and subsurface categories formulate appropriate contracting, sourcing strategies and contract management methods to enhance value.
    • Forecast and Plan product and service demand to ensure sustainability of inventory and service availability.

    Requirements

    • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Sciences or Business Management. (Professional certification e.g. MCIPS will be an advantage).
    • Minimum of 7 years of experience in contract management or administration in the oil and gas industry.
    • Strong experience of petroleum agreements and working with regulators e.g. Niums, NCDMB and NUPRC.
    • Mastery knowledge Nigerian upstream contacting processes and regulatory requirement.

    Asset Risk Manager

    Job Description

    • Identify and analyze potential risks associated with the various aspects of the assets’ operations, including strategic, financial, and reputational risks.
    • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to evaluate the likelihood and potential impact of identified risks on the company's objectives, and projects, on the asset(s).
    • Develop and implement strategies to mitigate or minimize identified risks. This will involve developing contingency plans, implementing risk treatments or controls, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., Certified Risk Manager - CRM, Project Management Professional - PMP, Chartered Financial Analyst - CFA) may be preferred or advantageous.
    • Strong understanding of upstream oil & gas operations, including exploration, drilling, production, reservoir management, and field development processes.
    • Familiarity with industry-specific regulations, standards, and best practices related to health, safety, environment, and regulatory compliance (e.g., API standards, ISO 31000, OSHA regulations).
    • Familiarity with risk management software, data analytics tools, and digital technologies used for risk assessment, reporting, and decision support (e.g., enterprise risk management systems, predictive analytics, GIS software).

    Regulatory Compliance Supervisor

    Job Description

    • Ensuring that the organization complies with outside regulatory and legal requirements, as well as internal policies and bylaws.
    • Working hand in hand with management and staff to identify and manage regulatory risk.
    • Assist in creation, adoption, and implementation of best-practice policies in Corporate Governance & Compliance.
    • Establish and oversee formal risk analysis and self-assessments program for various Information Services systems and processes.
    • Liaise with Internal Audit, Corporate Compliance, Office of General Counsel and Risk Management to remediate new and outstanding issues; track security-related issues in the electronic GRC system.

    Requirements

    • Degree in Law or any other related discipline with a minimum of 5 years of cognate post-NYSC experience in corporate governance, law, public policy, or administration with mandatory experience in upstream industry.
    • Relevant professional Certification would be an added advantage.
    • Experience of liaising with external parties such as auditors, government departments and service providers as well as supporting and managing corporate events.
    • Possess deep and sound knowledge of regulatory policies & laws in the oil & gas industry, along with a good knowledge of Nigerian laws and regulations, corporate and company laws.
