    Quality Manager

    Details:
    Our client is a leading flexible and rigid packaging manufacturer, producing a range of flexible packaging, PET bottle and preforms to various leading FMCG companies present in Nigeria, such as Unilever, PepsiCo, Procter & Gamble, Nestle, Promasidor and NBC. They are in need of well experience maintenance in charge manager.

    Responsibilities

    • Promoting quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization
    • Setting QA compliance objectives and ensuring that targets are achieved.
    • Ensuring compliance with national and international standards and legislation
    • Considering the application of environmental and health and safety standards in all jobs done in the factory;
    • Ensuring tests and procedures are properly understood, carried out and evaluated and that productmodifications are investigated if necessary;
    • assessing the product specifications of the company and its suppliers, and comparing with customer requirements
    • working with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements from external suppliers
    • liaising with customers' auditors and ensuring the execution of corrective action and compliance with customers' specifications
    • Monitoring performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports.
    • Setting up and maintaining controls and documentation procedures.

    Other Accountabilities

    • Reviewing the quality performance of products.
    • Carry out other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the General Manager
    • Minimum Education and Experience for the position:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and knowledge of management system like ISO 9000, philosophies, Total Quality Management and methodologies such as Continuous improvement will be an added advantage.

    Showroom Manager

    Details:
    Our client is an online shopping and daily deal site in Nigeria. It is the first organization to combine an online shopping platform with retail stores located in major cities across Nigeria. The online platform was established 5 years ago and has grown rapidly to become one of the most trusted shopping destinations in Nigeria.

    POSITION OVERVIEW:
    Increase revenues by successfully interacting with potential customers inside the showroom, and personal interaction through email and over the phone. This individual is responsible for generating new business, maintaining excellent relations with existing customers and following up with the

    outside sales team and distribution center team to facilitate the lease delivery to meet and exceed customer expectations. This person also coordinates the office needs for the showroom.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Responsibilities in general are in the following areas. These may evolve as the business requires.
    • Generate new leases by direct selling inside the showroom to new and current customers. Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly new lease goals as defined by the manager.
    • Research the residential and commercial marketplace through published lists, local sources, or  through independent research for potential business opportunities, and telemarketing as appropriate.
    • Maintain the showroom as a high impact location to feature the appropriate merchandising relevant to  the local customer base.
    • Answer phones, coordinate delivery logistics with customers and with the distribution team.
    • Process lease applications, exchanges, orders, and credit applications to corporate; follow up for delivery information, payment information and approvals as necessary.
    •  Communicate on a regular basis to ensure most recent needs are met and retail outlet remains top of mind.
    • Collaborate with outside sales, housewares team, distribution, billing, purchasing and customer    service teams for resolving disputes, scheduling deliveries and pickups, and maintaining productive   communication.
    • Develop customized proposals for prospective customers to meet their unique needs.  Present these proposals effectively and confidently address customer questions and concerns.
    • Maintain current knowledge of product and pricing on all inventory, and a design sense of how to create merchandising solutions that meet a customer need and utilize current inventory.
    • In collaboration with the outside sales team, maintain salesforce.com as a way to monitor activity,  increase success rate, increase sales calls, and track customer interaction. High quality organization skills focused on maintaining email databases, marketing and office supplies, and sales materials
    • Maintain a professional sales appearance
    • Collaborate positively with fellow Team Members; embrace teamwork mindset
    • Strong follow up orientation to insure successful implementation of the business initiatives
    • Work under time sensitive situations (time deadlines, delivery and pick-up schedules); able to multi- task in fast paced environment.
    •  Flexibility in schedule to handle customer and business needs as they arise
    • Implement direct mail and digital marketing pieces tailored to the current sales priorities.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor’s degree or two years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and  experience
    • Good analytical skills, the ability to create compelling solutions that meet customer needs, and the  ability to sell the customer the benefits of our lease proposals
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present information and respond to questions from individuals in one on one settings
    • Previous customer service experience or inside sales experience desired
    • Excellent computer skills

    Shift Engineer Plastic Processing Caps

    Details:

    TECHNICAL SKILLS

    • Excellent skills of process setting & root cause analysis, solving production and quality problems,
    • Technical expertise to understand design, modification of design, develop new products.
    • Good expertise of safety and wealthy environment, hygienic work place, manpower control, wastage control and improve quantity and quality.
    • Able to provide customer service to set closure capper chucks , attend customer complain and able to resolve the capping issues on capping machine .

    Machines Handled: 

    • Injection Molding:  Netstal /Husky /Arburg /Krauss Mafai injection molding machine for closure manufacturing
    • Compression Molding: Sacmi
    • Printing machine: Tampoprint / pad printing machines
    • Experience on blowing/ filling and capping machine will have added advantage.

    Role
    Working as Closure processing engineer in shift

     Responsible for:                                                             

    • Mold & process setting.
    • Maintaining process through SPC  & maintain quality
    • Maintain OEM standard cycle time & processing.
    • Prepared shift report
    • Execute preventive maintenance, focusing on areas like cost reduction & improve the productivity.       
    • New color and new mold trial.
    • Utility improvement implementation &5s implementation.
    • Maintain PPC, OPRP, and ERP, FIFO.
    • Work with maintenance manager to plan critical spare parts, resin stocks, packing items.
    •  Maintain the utilities like chiller, dryer & compressor.
    •  Responsible for mold maintenance & change over.
    • Responsible for solving the quality problem.
    • Schedule Maintenance of Husky / molds & Hot Runner

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • CIPET Graduate OR Diploma in Plastic Processing Engineering with over 5-10 years of experience  working on Sacmi compression molding for caps , Netstal /Husky /Arburg /Krauss Mafai injection molding machine for closure manufacturing
    • Very good experience in Processing of HDPE/PP CSD caps PCO 1810, PCO 1881 single piece  closures, 30/25&29/25 water closures, molds and mold maintenance.
    • Excellent Knowledge of production, maintenance, trouble shooting.
