    Senior Accountant

    About the Role

    • We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to oversee financial planning, reporting, and compliance for Medbury Healthcare Group.
    • The ideal candidate will ensure fiscal efficiency, lead budgeting and audit processes, and support management with financial insights to guide business decisions.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Coordinate financial planning, budgeting, and investment activities across business units.
    • Prepare and monitor annual budgets, ensuring adherence to approved expenditure.
    • Produce accurate monthly management accounts and financial performance reports.
    • Implement cost-saving strategies to optimize operational efficiency.
    • Ensure full compliance with tax, audit, and regulatory requirements.
    • Supervise payroll administration and maintain up-to-date statutory remittances.
    • Manage inter-company account reconciliation, bank reconciliations, and fixed asset register.
    • Identify investment opportunities and support continuous improvement in financial systems.

    Key Metrics

    • Budget compliance and cost optimization
    • Timely financial reporting
    • Regulatory and audit compliance.

    Requirements

    • B.Sc./HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (professional certification preferred).
    • Minimum of 7 years’ progressive experience in finance or accounting, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
    • Strong understanding of financial regulations, taxation, and audit procedures.
    • Proven leadership and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
    • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

    Salary Range
    N450,000 - N500,000 (Monthly, Negotiable).

    Medical Laboratory Technician

    Job Description

    • We are seeking a diligent and skilled Medical Lab Technician (MLT) to perform high-quality diagnostic tests for Medbury Healthcare Group.
    • The ideal candidate will be responsible for the accurate collection, processing, and analysis of patient samples, ensuring the reliability and timely delivery of test results in strict compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Sample Management: Collect, receive, register, and process various patient specimens (e.g., blood, urine, tissue) according to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
    • Diagnostic Testing: Perform a comprehensive range of clinical laboratory tests in areas such as Hematology, Chemical Pathology, Microbiology, and Urinalysis with precision and efficiency.
    • Equipment Operation: Operate, calibrate, and perform routine maintenance on sophisticated laboratory instruments and analysers .
    • Quality Control (QC): Execute daily Quality Control protocols, record results, and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure the validity and reliability of all diagnostic procedures.
    • Documentation & Reporting: Accurately document all testing data, maintain detailed patient records, and promptly report results to the appropriate physician or Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
    • Safety & Compliance: Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe work environment, adhering strictly to biosafety guidelines, infection control, and proper laboratory waste disposal protocols.

    Key Metrics:

    • Test accuracy and low error rate.
    • Efficient Turnaround Time (TAT) for routine and critical lab tests.
    • 100% compliance with Quality Control and SOP documentation.

    Requirements

    • Education: National Diploma (ND) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Science Laboratory Technology, Medical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
    • Certification: Current and valid practicing license from the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN) or equivalent professional body is highly desirable.
    • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience as a Medical Laboratory Technician, preferably within a fast-paced hospital or private diagnostic center.
    • Skills: Proficiency in operating various modern laboratory equipment, strong attention to detail, excellent technical skills, and familiarity with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) or EMR platforms.
    • Personal Attributes: Diligence, honesty, ability to work independently, and strong teamwork skills.
