    Account Officer

    This job role is to ensure that all Metering Projects Accounts and operating funding bank accounts of the business hubs are properly maintained and reported accurately in consistent with laid down treasury and regulatory policies and procedures of the company.

    Job Requirements

    • A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or any related field -An MBA or relevant postgraduate degree is an added advantage

    Job Responsibilities

    • Ensures monitoring of customers’ payments and making sure the payments are properly accounted for.
    • Ensures reconciliation with Project Collection Aggregators in respect of metering projects.
    • Prepares all metering project bank reconciliation accounts.
    • Ensures that customer complaints reported daily are resolved immediately.
    • Monitors customers’ payments on the internet banking platforms of all metering projects.
    • Maintains day to day banking relationships and operations- with the metering project banks.
    • Carry out other sundry assignments as directed by the Head Treasury Services & Revenue Management.

    Technical Supervisor

    This job role is to ensure expedited and optimal performance of technical activities in the Service Hub.

    Job Requirements

    • A Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Electrical Engineering or related fields.
    • Relevant professional certification or qualification would be an added advantage.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Identifying and eliminating electrical hazards and potentially dangerous situations to the network.
    • Ensuring that the maintenance plans and schedules, in accordance with maintenance rules for High Tension (HT) and Low Tension (LT) lines are implemented. Ensuring that all faults within the local network area are attended to.
    • Undertaking emergency call outs and standbys when required. Complying with Internal and External HSE and Quality requirements.
    • Maintain good relationships with the customers. To report any issue to the line manager immediately for action.
    • Follow all published guidelines, standards, policies and procedures to ensure satisfactory completion of work.
    • Perform any other duty as requested by the Technical Engineer.

    Distribution Substation Operator

    This job role involves operating all distribution substation switch gears, monitoring the operation of the power transformer while ensuring safety of personnel and equipment.  

    Job Requirements

    • OND Electrical/Mechanical
    • Professional Qualification; NABTEB certificate, NSE(Technologist) is an added advantage
    • Relevant professional certification or qualification in Engineering is desired.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Perform switching operations in accordance with standard operating procedures.  
    • Receives, records instructions and reports all operational activities to the dispatch office.
    • Issue of Protection Guarantee in line with safety procedures and IBEDC standard guidelines.  
    • Records hourly load and other integrated meter readings.
    • Inspects and monitors Substation equipment.
    • Records and documents all HV faults and other reports to the Business Hub Dispatch Office.
    • Maintains log of all operations both routine and emergencies. Carry out other sundry assignments as directed by the Business Hub Dispatch.

    Legal Officer

    The job role guides the Company in matters relating to efficient administration of the Company, compliance with Statutory and Regulatory requirements, ensuring that decisions of the Board of Directors are implemented, in line with overall business objectives.    

    Job Requirements

    • A Bachelor's degree in law Social Sciences and other related discipline

    Job Responsibilities

    • Oversees the Company Secretariat, providing direction and leadership for the Company secretariat’s activities.  
    • Ensures compliance with all statutory requirements set down by the Regulators, and with the provisions of CAMA.
    • Ensures that the business of the Company is conducted in accordance with Company’s Objects as contained in its Memorandum of Association, and Articles of Association (MEMART).    
    • Prepares the Board Meeting Agenda after consultation with the Chairman.  
    •  Arranges and calls meetings of the Board and keep records of the proceedings.
    • Attends meetings of the Board to ensure that the legal requirements are fulfilled and provide such information as are necessary.
    • Oversees all activities connected with allotment of shares, issuance of share certificates and others connected with share transfers.  
    •  Prepares, approves, signs and seals agreements, legal forms, and other official documents on the Company’s behalf.  
    • Liaises with the company’s solicitors to provide advice, to the EXCO in respect of the legal matters, as required.  
    • Oversees the engagement of Legal Advisors to defend the rights of the company in Courts of Law.  
    • Keeps custody of the seal of the company.  
    • Ensures that Statutory Forms are filed.

    Head, Contract Management

    This job role manages legal risk relative to contracts to limit corporate exposure.

    Job Requirements

    • A first degree in Law i.e. (LLB)and Bachelor of Law (BL)
    • Required: Nig. Bar Association (NBA), and/or Inst. of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA).
    • 15 years of post-Call to Bar work experience, with at least 5 years at senior level in a top-tier law firm or a company in the utilities sector.
    • Additional academic qualifications and membership of relevant professional bodies may be an added advantage.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Advises the Company on general commercial interests and other legal matters as required.  
    • Represents the Company in negotiations of commercial ventures and other proposed arrangements in conjunction with other experts.  
    • Review of standard Operating Procedures that guides contract management. Review, draft, negotiate, and advise on legal documentation.   
    • Monitors time bound legal documentation and escalate when necessary.  
    • Ensures the set up and maintenance of a database of all legal documentation.  
    • Prepares periodic and ad-hoc reports to management.  
    • Carry out other sundry assignments as directed by the Chief Legal Officer.
