    Travel & Tours Consultant

    Job Summary

    • The Travel & Tours Consultant must be passionate about traveling.
    • You will manage travel requirements made for business or holiday and will provide tourism-related services and package tours on behalf of our suppliers.
    • The goal is to keep our clients satisfied and loyal for future services.

    Responsibilities

    • Plan and sell of booking Car transportations, accommodations, VISA, Insurance, and other travel services.
    • Cooperate with clients to determine their needs and advise them appropriate destination, modes of transportation, travel dates, costs, and accommodations.
    • Provide relevant information, brochures, and publications (guides, local customs, maps, regulations, events, etc) totravelers.
    • Book Car transportation, make hotel reservations, and collect payment/fees.
    • Use promotional techniques and prepare promotional materials to sell itinerary tour packages.
    • Deal with occurring travel problems, complaints, or refunds.
    • Attend travel seminars to remain updated with tourism trends.
    • Enter data into our software and maintain client files.
    • Network with tour operators.
    • Maintain statistical and financial records.
    • Meet profit and sales targets.

    Key Areas:

    • Provide high customer service level to assure clients totally satisfied.
    • Attain yearly sales targets as set by line manager.
    • Develop and execute a personal marketing plan to acquire sales goal.
    • Assist store as well as club marketing efforts.
    • Maintain and update detailed customer list for potential sales opportunities.
    • Head responsible for the resolution of client and vendor concerns.
    • Comply with company-established guidelines, procedures, and standards in the customer service area.
    • Ensure to follow all rules related to PNR’s and Profiles, invoicing, ticketing, client files plus overall work accuracy.
    • Maintain complete understanding as well as working knowledge of Club computerized systems.
    • Head responsibility for departmental duties as allotted by management to assure smooth operational flow.
    • Ensure to advance by company national travel proficiency testing and training program.
    • Involve in mandatory training as and when management assigns.
    • Suggest customers with the most cost-effective travel mode within the established corporate travel policy.
    • Recommend customer about international travel requirements like passport and visa, etc.

    Requirements

    • Degree in Hospitality, Travel, Tourism, Business, or relevant field.
    • Proven work experience as a Travel & Tours Agent.
    • Excellent knowledge of computer reservations systems, GDS systems, and e-traveling.
    • Fluency in English; multilingualism is a plus
    • Strong sales skills and commercial awareness.
    • Ability to interact, communicate and negotiate effectively.
    • Sound knowledge of domestic and international travel trends.
    • The personal travel experience will be considered an advantage.
