    Technical Sales Manager

    Position Overview

    • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Sales Manager with a proven track record in the gas compression services industry.
    • The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing strategic business relationships, and providing technical expertise to customers in the gas compression sector.
    • This role requires a dynamic individual who possesses exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills, along with a deep understanding of gas compression technologies and market trends.

    Responsibilities
    Sales Strategy and Growth:

    • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and market expansion goals within the gas compression services industry.
    • Identify potential customers, market segments, and emerging opportunities to drive business growth.
    • Lead the development of sales forecasts, budgets, and plans, and regularly assess performance against targets.

    Customer Engagement and Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients, understanding their technical needs and business objectives.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, providing solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
    • Collaborate with technical teams to tailor products and services to meet customer requirements.

    Technical Expertise:

    • Possess a deep understanding of gas compression technologies, products, and services offered by the company.
    • Provide technical guidance to customers, including explaining the benefits of specific solutions and addressing technical inquiries or concerns.

    Market Analysis and Industry Insights:

    • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and technological advancements related to gas compression services.
    • Analyze market data to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation, and provide recommendations for product or service enhancements.

    Negotiation and Contract Management:

    • Lead negotiations with clients to close deals, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and conditions.
    • Draft, review, and negotiate sales contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

    Team Collaboration:

    • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including engineering, operations, and marketing, to align sales strategies with company objectives.
    • Provide feedback to the product development team based on customer insights and market needs.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; Master's Degree is a plus.
    • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in technical sales within the gas compression services industry.
    • Strong understanding of gas compression technologies, equipment, and applications.
    • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
    • Strategic thinking with the ability to analyze market trends and customer needs.
    • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
