    Regional Business Line Manager - Compressor Technique and Power Technique

    Your role

    • Develop, manage, and continue improvement of the Sales organization and the profitable growth of the business.
    • Responsible for the Profit & Loss and the Balance Sheet of the business line (Oil Free Air, Industrial Air and Portable Air Divisions) in the region
    • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies in alignment with the Global Marketing team that promote all divisional products under the Atlas Copco brand to build and reinforce target market share and profitability.
    • Preparation and achievement of business lines sales budget in the region.
    • Develop business strategy and Customer Share evaluation for all the business lines.
    • Focus on developing all relevant sales channels, direct and indirect with a strong focus on overall market share, profitability, and cost efficiency targets of the business lines.
    • Work closely together with other Business Line Manager (CTS) to ensure that the Compressor Technique Business Area has a homogeneous approach to the market with an aim to achieve our ambitious targets.
    • Monitor the development of a defined set of KPIs and scorecards, resulting in corrective/preventive actions (i.e., profitability, growth, forecasting, territory action plans, CRM, etc.)
    • Stay up to date on market intelligence (incl. price levels). Price every product aligned with the marketing plan and market potential against current market levels to give all products the best chance.
    • Attend business lines review meetings, participate, and provide updates at regular meetings with relevant regional salesforce team, division, and business area management as required.
    • Develop the Sales structure and organization and ensure that the responsibilities among the different functions are well understood.
    • Develop a robust sales infrastructure around our customers and provide quality solutions with high customer satisfaction.
    • Develop a strong way to market and ways to market excellence strategy.
    • Develop a competent sales team with a succession plan.

    To succeed, you will need

    • Qualification in Engineering or similar through experience, education to degree level is desirable.
    • Strong strategic and conceptual capabilities to lead and develop a regional business.
    • Proven track record of delivering results in sales and marketing and sound commercial awareness.
    • Knowledge of Compressor technology is highly desirable.
    • Strong knowledge of the local market and industry and trends to provide a strategic pathway to success.
    • Results-driven and customer-focused
    • Ability to embrace challenges, persist through obstacles and model a growth mindset.
    • A passion for creating a culture of ownership and accountability.
    • Drive collaboration and instill team spirit within the business.
    • Role models integrity and act in the best interest of others and the business
    • Ideally located in Nigeria.
