    Job Summary

    • The post holder  will be responsible for financial statements, accruals, analytical skills, finance, and accounting tasks to support the company's operations in Lagos.
    • He/she must have a thorough understanding of accounting principles and financial management techniques that contribute to the overall financial stability of an organization.

     Job Responsibilities include

    • Collecting, analysing, and presenting financial and non-financial data to assist in decision-making.
    • Developing and managing financial systems and policies
    • Conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities
    • Overseeing and preparing income statements 
    • Review and validate budget data from units, identifying inconsistencies.
    • Support working capital activities such as, cash forecasting and debt optimization. 
    • Conduct Internal and External benchmarking exercises.
    • Prepare initial drafts of relevant periodic and ad hoc business performance reports.
    • Support in the analysis of operational results and making recommendations to management.
    • Managing company’s financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems 
    • Liaising with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out
    • Providing advice on financial matters impacting on the company as a whole
    • Keeping up to date with changes in financial regulations and legislation
    • Conducting risk management
    • Producing reports and recommendations following internal audits or public-sector audits
    • Preparing business reports and forecasts 
    • Ensuring the company complies with all legal requirements in terms of finance handling.
    • Proactively conducting Product Pricing comparison with competitors in the solar energy sector
    • Provide monthly and quarterly cashflow and P&L to management regularly.
    • Perform any other duties as assigned by the departmental head.

    Required Qualifications

    • Minimum of First Degree
    • MBA or relevant Master’s Degree
    • Relevant professional certifications e.g. Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN)
    • Minimum of 7 years relevant experience in Power and renewable energy sector is necessary 
    • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
