    Lead, Operations

    Job Summary

    In this role, you will play a pivotal role in guaranteeing the smooth and efficient operation of our credit company. Your responsibilities encompass overseeing and enhancing operational procedures to elevate customer service, streamline workflows, and foster a culture of operational excellence. We are seeking a proactive leader capable of devising and executing strategic initiatives while upholding a steadfast commitment to compliance, risk management, and effective team leadership.

    Responsibilities

     

    Lead-Operations

    • Operational Strategy: Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.
    • Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance workflow efficiency and reduce operational risks.
    • Team Leadership: Lead a high-performing operations team, providing clear direction, coaching, and mentorship to team members.
    • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that all operational activities comply with industry regulations and internal policies. Develop and maintain effective risk management strategies.
    • Quality Control: Establish and monitor quality control measures to maintain high standards of service delivery and data accuracy.
    • Vendor Management: Oversee relationships with third-party vendors and service providers, ensuring they meet performance standards and contractual agreements.
    • Technology Integration: Collaborate with the IT department to identify and implement technology solutions that improve operational processes and data management.
    • Reporting and Analysis: Generate regular reports on operational performance, key performance indicators (KPIs), and other relevant metrics. Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions.
    • Customer Experience: Champion a customer-centric approach within the operations team, fostering a culture of exceptional service and responsiveness.

    Performance Management:

    • Support managers and other stakeholders to cultivate a high-performance culture and ensure that performance management experiences are effective and empowering, prioritizing fairness and objectivity.
    • Advise managers on team performance management via a data driven approach.
    • Work proactively to identify underperformance and address thoughtfully and manage it professionally.

    Job Requirement

    • BSc/BA in Business Administration, finance, or a related field 
    • Master’s degree as added advantage
    • 6 -10 years proven experience in Operations Management, preferably in the financial services or credit industry.
    • Excellent communication, influence, and negotiation skills.
    • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance.
    • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in data analysis and experience with relevant software tools.
