    Head of Learning

    Job Description

    • We are seeking a visionary and dynamic Head of Learning to lead our educational initiatives and shape the future of learning at Schoolinka.
    • As a driving force behind our educational endeavors, you will be responsible for crafting and executing a comprehensive learning strategy that empowers educators with transformative experiences.
    • Your leadership will extend across curriculum development, faculty hiring and management, pedagogical innovation, and the relentless pursuit of educational excellence.

    Responsibilities

    • Strategic Learning Leadership: Define and execute a robust learning strategy that aligns with Schoolinka's mission and growth objectives. Spearhead the evolution of our educational offerings to meet the dynamic needs of educators in the ever-changing landscape of education.
    • Curriculum Design and Development: Oversee the creation and enhancement of engaging, relevant, and impactful training courses and programs. Collaborate closely with the content development team to ensure the continuous evolution of high-quality learning materials.
    • Faculty Management and Development: Hire and lead a diverse team of educators, trainers, and subject matter experts. Foster an environment of collaboration, innovation, and professional growth among faculty members to ensure the delivery of exceptional learning experiences.
    • Pedagogical Innovation: Pioneer the research, exploration and implementation of cutting-edge teaching methodologies, educational technologies, and pedagogical approaches that enhance learner engagement and outcomes.
    • Quality Assurance: Set and uphold rigorous standards for the quality of learning experiences, ensuring that each program is meticulously designed, effectively delivered, and consistently evaluated for continuous improvement.
    • Learning Analytics and Impact Measurement: Establish metrics and processes to assess the effectiveness and impact of our educational programs. Leverage data-driven insights to make informed decisions and refine the learning strategy.
    • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with internal teams, external partners, and educators to gather insights, feedback, and perspectives that inform the development of relevant and impactful learning solutions.
    • Thought Leadership: Position Schoolinka as a thought leader in educational innovation. Represent Schoolinka at conferences, workshops, and industry events to share insights and contribute to the advancement of education.
    • Budget Management: Manage the learning budget effectively, allocating resources strategically to maximize the impact of educational initiatives.

    Qualifications

    • A Master's degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field will be a great advantage. A strong academic background and a deep understanding of pedagogical principles are essential.
    • Atleast five (5) years of proven experience in educational leadership roles, preferably within a technology-driven educational organization or startup.
    • Demonstrated track record of designing and delivering successful, engaging, and impactful teacher training and learning experiences.
    • Experience in curriculum development, faculty management, and pedagogical innovation.
    • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse stakeholders.
    • Passion for education, a keen eye for emerging trends, and a relentless commitment to pushing the boundaries of traditional learning approaches.
    • Experience in project management and budget oversight.
    • Proficiency in using learning management systems and educational technologies.
    • Previous experience in e-learning, online course development, or blended learning models is a plus.
