• EXPERIENCE LEVEL:
• Management- minimum 15 years Management experience in Credit Management/ Credit Analysis/ Credit Strategy/Credit Process Automation/Credit Administration & monitoring in retail lending environment.
• Exceptional knowledge of SME lending procedures, loan disbursement, loan recovery in the mass market.
• People management and development, all within banking or other financial institution. FINTECH experience is key and experience with microfinance banking is an added advantage.
• Understanding of accounting software and process automation strategy and knowledge of creation and processing of financial spreadsheets is an advantage.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• oversee organization’s lending process under current and future products i.e. evaluating client’s creditworthiness, creating risk predicting credit scoring models, analyzing potential revenues and losses for the organization.
• Calculate and set interest rates Negotiate loan terms with clients. Monitor payments, records maintenance.
• Ensure that all lending procedures comply with industry regulations. Develop, review and update company credit policies.
• Work closely with cross functional teams like sales and e-channels teams and operations to initiate and design exciting campaigns to enhance e-channels growth.
• Policy and process development as well as third party engagements with external stakeholders and regulators.
