Manage the process of driver hours, accident reporting, vehicle maintenance and servicing.
Ensure all vehicle accidents are accurately recorded and investigated with claim forms submitted to the company's Legal Team. Act as primary contact with buses insurers.
Manage the processes for obtaining damage estimates, carrying out repairs and ensuring maximum availability of buses for operational teams.
Act as a fleet adviser for Operations Managers.
Procure a new fleet and arrange disposal of redundant vehicles.
Responsible for maintenance of the buses database and ensuring its accuracy.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive preventive adherence program for the company’s fleet.
Recommend and Implement policies that will effectively address the systemic gaps, leakages identified during the repairs and maintenance period.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety and security regulations and policies.
Ensure that adequate and effective risk assessments are undertaken and regularly reviewed in conjunction with HSE.
Overall management of the buses.
Requirements / Qualifications
Interested candidates should possess relevant qualifications
Minimum of Eight (8+) years’ experience with the last three years in a management role.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong Knowledge of vehicle compliance regulations.
Strong analytical skills.
Strong communication skills.
Membership of recognized professional body.
Experience in a bus transport company is an added advantage.
