Provide leadership and direction to the West & Central Africa Sales Team
Lead and drive all commercial activities for ADM Human Nutrition in West & Central Africa to achieve financial and strategic goals in the region with focus on Nigeria and growing markets.
Direct, develop and implement innovative sales and marketing strategies in line with the EMEA Market Segment and Sales strategies to maximize margins and deliver revenue growth.
Identify opportunities and generate profitable sales in both, new and existing accounts to meet and exceed business, revenue, margin and pipeline goals.
Monitor and review customer sales activity as well as strategic amendments and make strategy adjustments as needed.
Support the development of innovative Sales, Marketing and Portfolio Strategies in line with the Market Segment and Platform strategies.
Monitor, review and adjust sales activities based on KPIs and identify market potential in the region.
Identify key decision makers and build a strong relationship with selected Key Accounts to understand and create business opportunities.
Direct cross-selling opportunities to increase revenue and leverage relationships in order to better position our broad and innovative product and service portfolio.
Facilitate regular meetings with key decision makers at clients and relevant stakeholders at ADM.
Reporting to the Sales Director Africa.
Requirements:
5 years of experience in human nutrition (in the B2B beverage, food, dairy and ingredients business) as the Director/Manager level in an international company operating in West and Central Africa is a must-have
10+ years of professional experience in sales is a must
Degree in food technology or business administration
Knowledge and commercial contacts to the beverage and food market in West & Central Africa
Advanced English (B2/C1 level); French will be an advantage
Excellent People Management and Stakeholder Management skills
Strong customer, and service orientation and proven negotiation and technology skills
Flexible and willing to travel regularly within the region
