    Business Partner Nigeria

    Purpose of the job

    • As a Business Partner you need to be a trusted contributor within the finance department; holds the deep business knowledge needed to translate business inputs into the company financial actions.
    • Individual accountabilities
    • Use insights to contribute to build business scenarios.
    • Enable valuable investment decisions along CCO.

    Individual responsibilities

    Business Planning & Support for Strategy Development

    • Lead and participate in business discussions with the Management Team
    • Translate strategic plan into operational business plan and financial plans which support PM Nigeria strategy and regional priorities!
    • Support an integrated business plan connecting all commercial activities - connect the dots enterprise-wide.
    • Drive conversion of the consumer journey into financials and integrate into business plan.
    • Understand and analyze macro-economic environment.
    • Be the face to external partners and key contact point within the organization.
    • Manage local data governance to ensure alignment with PMI standards.

    Commercial Finance / scenario modelling

    • Partner with commercial teams to define ROI of initiatives and drive/support investment decisions and define metrics and targets.
    • Provide with decision options to improve business results, based on clear commercial and other functional (e.g. fiscal) drivers
    • Contribute to build business/commercial scenario with high level Finance impact.
    • Identify trends and patterns to maximize channels ROI, based on data (e.g. ensure optimize channel mixes)
    • Contribute to Business Development activities where required.

    Required Experience

    • College/University Degree. Major in Business, Accounting, or Finance is preferred
    • 5+ years of experience in Financial Planning or Commercial Finance.
    • Desirable knowledge of Power BI and SAP
    • Language: English business proficiency (verbal and written)
    • Ability to navigate in an environment of uncertainty, ambiguity and complexity with diverse stakeholders.
    • Strong analytical thinking capabilities and ability to address business challenges and opportunities with customer focus.
    • Clear written and verbal communications skills; Attention to detail, self-motivated, creative, and flexible; excellent time management and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as a team player
