    Business Development Executive

    RequirementsExperience: 

    • Minimum of 3-5 years business development experience and verifiable track record
    • Experience (preferably in banking, insurance, hospitality or human resources) and understanding of Nigeria's commercial and human resources landscape is critical.
    • Passion for sales. Agile and can spot opportunities — excellent interpersonal credentials.

    Qualification and Personal Traits: 

    • Minimum of a Second Class lower first degree
    • Excellent Communication (written and spoken)
    • Possess the virtue of integrity
    • Proficient in IT (Microsoft package)
    • Fantastic Business Development Management track record. 
    • Great Interpersonal skills, self-motivated and able to take initiative.
    • Should be humble, flexible and dynamic
    • Self-motivated, able to manage rejection and win business and achieve targets with a strong work ethic while protecting the best interests of the company 
    • Possess empathy and understanding by taking time to discover customers' situation and requirements and taking a creative solution (vs product) selling approach

    Job Description

    • Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business sales.
    • Cold call as appropriate within Lagos and Abuja, other areas to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities
    • Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging the personal network.
    • Identify potential clients and the decision-makers within the client organization: research and build relationships with new clients. Possess excellent leadership quotient.
    • Human Resources and Technology enthusiast, proficient in the use of social media and can leverage this in understanding products and services and engaging potential customers
    • Have responsibility for weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets. 
    • Convert, develop and grow a pipeline by marketing activity and proactive outbound engagement
    • Accurately forecast expected sales each month and develop a close plan and define next steps to progress opportunities to close 
    • Develop a sound understanding of the wider human resources sector in the context of trust, corporate leadership and governance, using this knowledge to enhance business development and profitable growth.
