    Associate Director - Program Manager

    Duration: One Year,with the possibility of renewal subject to the availability of funds.

    Position Overview

    • Under the supervision of the Project Director, The Program manager will serve as the administrative lead for the survey. The job holder will advise on survey governance, and coordination.
    • The job holder will be responsible for human resource and logistics management.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Develop and maintain a survey program management plan Ensure budget and operating plan is executed in line with survey Plan
    • Responsible for field staff recruitment and management
    • Responsible for survey logistics management including commodities/supplies and field vehicles management
    • Weekly Program reviews to appraise progress in program implementation
    • Perform project planning, progress measurement, team coordination, scope control, cost control, and status reporting to executive management and customers.
    • Risk assessment and mitigation, program status reporting and closure of program issues.
    • Producing accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout the lifecycle of the program

    Education Requirements

    • Advanced degree in public health, any health related field (MPH or M.Sc)

    Experience:

    • Seven (7) years of experience working with HIV or other disease control program at the managerial level
    • At least five (5) years of experience managing a large scale public health program.
    • Excellent communication and writing
    • PMP and EVM certification is an added advantage.
