Duties and Responsibilities

• The role requires the candidate to be able to monitor and assess hazardous and unsafe situations and also develop measures to assure personnel safety.
• He/She should be able to correct unsafe acts or conditions through the regular line of authority, although he/she may exercise emergency authority to prevent or stop unsafe acts when immediate action is required.
• Must be able to set annual safety target and meet the set targets.     .
• Must have a good knowledge on safety and quality matter as it affects the oil industry
• General safety milestone, with weekly and monthly statistical reports

Qualification and Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of cognate experience
• First degree or HND in engineering or physical science.
• Member of NISP is an advantage.
• Good computer skills- profklent in MS Office suite
