POSITION PROFILE

• The incumbent must take leadership of and contribute to implement direction for  Company. Play a pro-active role in providing marketing, sales, technical, administrative
• and managerial support for the success of the department.
• Incumbent must manage direct departmental staff by undertaking the following  activities effectively and in compliance to company’s internal policies and procedures:
• recruitment and selection; Training and development; Performance management;
• Communication (team briefing); Redundancy & turnover; Rewards and recognition for  sales team only.
• Responsible for sales plans & tracking competition
• Be aware of current level of equipment in stock
• Prepare and implement annual marketing plan for company’s products.
• Participate in periodic management and company meetings
• Prepare and manage departmental budgets, control expenditures to stay within limits.
• Provides sales, marketing, technical, administrative & Internet support to the MD and
• subordinates; training to all sales representatives and field service personnel as  needed.
• Develop business strategies that would increase customer service delivery & turnover
• Searches out ideas and concepts for business growth and customer satisfaction
• Network with other players in the industry, to stay abreast of developments
• Must set productivity targets and ensure that they met
• Meet regularly with other departmental staff to review activities and discuss future
• plans
• Establish and maintain a working environment conducive to positive morale, individual  style, quality, creativity, and teamwork.
• Maintains regular contacts with existing clients, while prospecting for new ones
• Maintain strict confidentiality on sensitive personnel issues and company operations
• Perform other duties as requested by the managing director
• In the absence of the General Manager or Managing Director, incumbent will work closely with the Operation/Business Manager

JOB REQUIREMENT

• Must reside in Lagos
• Should possess B.Sc in Sciences, Social Sciences, Engineering
• MBA would be an advantage
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in sales of technical products & services.
