What is Apprenticeship

An Apprenticeship is a training program an individual undergoes with the direct supervision of a skilled professional in order to learn a particular craft, skill or trade. The person being trained is called an apprentice and it is done so he gets hands-on training on the job or industry. Most apprenticeship programs involve both hands-on training and classroom training. After the training, the apprentice receives a certificate to show that he has been properly trained.
